ART MATTERS ART MATTERS ART MATTERS
Art Matters has been running for more than 20 years now. Thanks to community contributions, we have been able to preserve and document our history. This website is an ode to the past, a nod to the future, and a reminder that hard work can leave a lasting mark.

Publication
As a response to the 2020 pandemic, Art Matters decided to adapt and create for the first time a printed project as an alternative venue for an exhibition. Printed in July 2021, the publication had a first edition of 350 copies and a second edition of 30 copies which were distributed at no cost via mail, pickup points, a vernissage, and a finissage. Thanks to Anteism Books, La Centrale galerie Powerhouse, Parc Offsite, Librarie Centre Clark, La Fonderie Darling, Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain, and the Concordia Fine Arts Reading Room for their support. The physical publication can be consulted in the Special Collections Reading Room at the Vanier Library and in the Fine Arts Reading Room on the 2nd Floor of Concordia’s Engineering and Visual Arts Building.
